"Medieval Banquet at Explosion on Good Friday 2008.
This was the first Medieval banquet I had been to, so not too sure what to expect. I was pleasently surprised. From the greeting at the door from the Norman (damn their eyes!!) Lord and the Saxon Lord!!! It was great. We were given tabards and either a sash or a rope to tie depending on which side you were on. Very good magician, also taught some medieval dancing, and some seriously mad games. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Only criticism is that I think there should have been jugs of wine on the tables rather than having to keep going to the bar.
Made to feel very welcome by all. Would definitely go again."
